When I was home brewing with good friend years ago we thought about bottling some and making labels with the octane theme or the engine oil theme but never did. You know maybe call a standard brown ale at 5% 30 weight, a hot IPA 87 octane, and a really hot IPA 91 octane, then the stout could be called 90 weight. I wonder if anyone has done that?

Maybe not that naming convention, but there's a small craft brewery just down the road from me called "Small Block"...referring to SBC and from the founder's passion for hot rods. All their beer is named with an automotive theme. Definitely one of my favorite local drinking wells :-D
“Low Octane,” maybe someday if we do a Decaffeinated version
