I've got that same Skil one. Really handy and lots of torque, but you have to be really careful when charging it. Don't leave it on the charger, it will roast the battery. Fortunately it's also very easy to replace the battery so that's no big hardship. Keeps it's charge for months.

Not really ... everything used to be like that, until they stuck microchips into the chargers. This one may be a more advanced charger than mine. Probably is, mine's pretty long in the tooth now. Still works great tho.
