Sad Oldsmobile Day in Oklahoma
It is with a heavy heart to inform the forum of the passing of Rick Duden. He was a long time friend of mine and I'm still in shock. He was killed in a Jeep rollover on a trail in Colorado. I have spoken to his wife and will hear back from her soon. It will likely be a small graveside service in the Oklahoma City area. I am hosting an Olds Club memorial show at my place in Tuttle, Ok on Oct.23 to give us a chance to remember him and swap stories. Please keep his family in your thoughts.

I heard about Rick's passing on the OCA FB page a couple of days ago. I was shocked beyond belief as I had jusy saw him @ the OCA Nats. I have known and done business with him and he was a great guy, truely an Olds man. May he RIP.

Wow, I am so shocked to hear this !
Rick and his old friend Bill Nolen has helped me so much over the years !
Everyday when I exit the highway, I always look toward Rick's back yard to see what cool new Olds he just dragged home.
Rick will be greatly missed !

I met Rick at the Nationals in Gettysburg and talked to him briefly this year in Murfreesboro. Class act with lots of Oldsmobile knowledge. He will be missed for sure. Condolences to his family and friends.
It's ironic that he jokes in the video about what will happen to the car after he passes on. Kind of gave me the chills.
Wish I were closer to OK. to attend the get-together. I'd love to hear all the stories.

Mr. 442 Rick Duden
What a tragedy. I’ve known Rick for 20 years. Such a kind and knowledgeable friend. He was a mentor and good friend all the days I’ve known him. Rick was an Oldsmobile Man. He was passionate about his cars. I always enjoyed our discussions and talk of our 442 machines. We had some pretty good times working on our cars. He came by my office before his leaving for Colorado. We discussed price values on the cars I was looking to sell. We talked and had some luffs for a couple of hours. I had no idea that would be my last opportunity to see and speak with him. Condolences to his wife and family. Rick will be missed but not forgotten. Godspeed Rick, I will always think of you, mySon and Father as I drive my cars.
Love and miss you my Oldsmobile brother.
