Jetfire Carburetor Rebuild

I took this Jetfire carburetor apart today. I am going to get all the parts recolored by Sparky's carbs. He is only coloring the parts, I will reassemble it. I will not be able to rebuild the entire thing because I can't get the parts but what I can't rebuild I will rob off of our Automatic Jetfire. I have a red turbo rebuilt for the Automatic car but wanted to get another carburetor recolored to put with the new turbo. Looks like a tone of parts for a 1bbl carburetor but some of it is the fluid metering system and safety systems for the turbo.

There are no parts available anywhere. You have to either make them or send the entire system to Jim Noel to have him rebuild it. It is not likely he would be willing to just rebuild a carburetor but not sure? He is the only guy that has parts but won't sell them without his service of rebuilding it. I just happen to have enough gaskets to rebuild this one. I don't have the parts to do the boost limit control diaphragm and even if I did Jim is the only guy that has the molds to crimp it back together. There are many tricky things to this carburetor that you have to pay close attention to or it will have vacuum leaks and other issues.

A little more done on this project. I am building two Fluid metering valves. One for our new turbo and another for our 4 speed Jetfire. The 4 speed Jetfire's turbo spins like it should but all the other parts have dried up diaphragms. I picked up enough stuff here and there to attempt to get the 4 speed cars system operational. If the seals are bad on the turbo I will have to finish the new turbo and get it installed on the automatic car to use its turbo on the 4 speed car. I still have not sent the parts to Sparky's to be recolored.
