I finally got back on my project, installed ILT p/s hoses, radiator and hoses, intermediate shaft and rag joint..next up is relocating the combination valve, which will be a pita
After the brake system is done it will be time for the Ridetech front suspension.
I have the Nitto's; 295/45/18 rear, and 255/45/18 front, I specced 5.5 BS on the rear, and either 5.25 or 5.5 on the fronts.

I have G heads that were done and signed by J. Mondello, running mini shaft rockers, modified oil return passages, SS valves,Dual Comp valve springs 77 cc chambers.welded center exhaust ports.set up for 10:1 on a zero deck block. I'm looking at Pro Comps from Bernard Mondello or Smitty with the same CC's and Harland Sharp rockers.

Thanks Joe, but please credit White Post Restoration for the m/c finish, their work always comes back looking like new..they use some type of epoxy which wears extremely well.

Installing the control arms was pretty straightforward, I did have to massage the slots in the frame, they were a little narrow, a little lube helped to get the lower arms all the way in. I used ILT control arm bolts, nice fit, look OEM. Ridetech ships their arms with Pro Forged ball joints, these are quality parts, and I think USA made. Now I'm waiting on a spanner wrench so I can adjust ride height, the car needs to come up about an inch, which will give me about 4" from my headers to the ground, pretty tight, so we'll see.

Actually the holes on either side of the mounting bolt are to lighten the lower arm. If the mount was moved in or out the spring would contact the frame.

Thanks for the reply. That makes perfect sense. How much do those arms weigh? Are they heavier than the stock LCA?
