I have a 70 w30 with a build date of 4/17/70. What would the correct codes on the heads and block be?

 

Welcome to the site Chuck! There's been some discussion on this in past threads. The search function doesn't work real well, but hopefully someone who has a good idea will speak up. Obviously prior to the build date of your car. But how much before I'm not sure. The block will be easy to find, but the W30 only stampings on the heads, carb, distributor, etc. those items will be harder to find. Not sure if you've found these threads, but they may have some details that would help you with your restoration.
