Coming right along Stan......... I had the same issue under the roof insulation........nasty to clean up is all I can say I have only done a section on mine so far.. I want to have it outside when I tackle the rest of it

I hope you don`t put the knomes in the yard like that you might end up attracting the wrong crowd

i guess you can only get what rust you can see. i left the insulation between the supports and skin so the roof still has backing, but ill have to see. a random orbit 5" round sander is how ill try first. it should get the large area's

Nice project Stan - Lots of rust, but not too bad. Hopefully the stuff on the roof is not too thick.
Leave the gnomes in the garage - maybe they will help you withthe resto.
If they stat F'ing around, then kick 'em outside in the snow.

I sure like the size of your garage - some room to work and walk!

Stan if you have a grinder slap a wire wheel on it way faster than the sander then you can slap some Por on it

I use the 5 inch... just wear heavy cloths though the wire spurs hurt like hell when they puncture you

Nice 65! can't wait until it gets done. As far as pictures go,I always carry a cheap digital camera, take way too many pictures. Not usually for posting or such, but to help remember what went where, and how. They come in real handy sometimes.
I also take pictures of the car/truck in front and back of me when I park, then I know who hit me! ---bil
