Stan that doesnt look half bad. your package tray area looks real clean just the filler panel and lower sections of the rear glass ?
hard to tell on the front but looks like mostly pitting

Looks like a great starting point. The windshield channel on my 69 didn't look anywhere near as good.
I had some surface rust in some areas and just scuffed it down with my wire wheel or grinder and then hit it with Eastwood's rust encapsulator followed by their extreme chassis black. Stuff worked out great. I also didn't take the body off of the frame but I did jack it up about 6 inches and replaced all the mounts.

old skl, when i picked up my can of por15 i asked for some rust killer to put on first and they said the por wouldnt stick, that eastwood sounds like a compatible product with the encapsulator.

Stan they used seam sealer to keep the A pillar covers on. IF you get all the screws out just gently pry it from the outside of the pillar it might take some time though
The Por is used right on the rust after the wire wheel

more progress, got the fenders off, one was welded on at the bottom, ther was a buch of spacers with a robertson screw to hold it then welded together, then welded the bottom of the fender to the hole mess

hard to see, but theres a patch over a patch, and the substructure needs a little support

can you see why my headlites were pointed all over? probably why the trim rings didnt fit right
