Sound deadened 77 Supreme
Sound deadened 77 Supreme
Bought this car about 5 years ago to be a daily driver, man did I make a bad decision. So many mechanical problems and minimal mechanical know how.
Then one day my uncle [WILL] introduced me to [DAN] and that was that.
I wouldn't know where to start describing the problems on this car. For the last four years I have been slowing getting things together and dan has been there.
!hands down the best mechanic i know personally; ok, i will stop swangin' now but honestly dude knows his ****!

Mechanically the car is A-1. you name it and it has either been rebuilt or replaced. now it's on to the body (looking for a motor different story though).

this week we got the body off the frame. addressed the surface rust on the floor pans, undercarriage, and frame then started spraying the sound deadner.

Wow. The revival of a rotten 77 4 door. You sir, are my hero today. Perhaps even more sick in the head than I am. 10 thumbs up.
More people should do things like this instead of wimping out and chopping these cars into millions of scrap pieces.

i knew that there were a few people who could appreciate it just not anyone i know personally

i don't know how many time i've heard, "man, just sell/scrap that pos."
update:
last tuesday and wednesday, which happened to be the hottest days of the year, i finished spraying the last of the 5 gallons of deadner. we let it sit for a day or two then the brake and fuel lines were ran. after that we dropped the body back on the frame.
i'm still looking for a 700r4 but not having much luck
