1968 4 speed Vista Cruiser Project

Hi Guys !

So it has been a whole year since I bought this one owner (84 years old) 1968 Vista wagon. From the minute I got it home I knew right away what I wanted to do it and set out collecting all the parts needed to complete the build. All though not quite finished yet it is getting very close. So I have installed a new M-22 4 speed trans with factory bucket seats and a factory 4 speed console. Also a new 3:42 posi rear end with a W-27 cover. I painted the complete center section with a gun metal gray paint making it look like a real W-27 unit. Power windows are next to install as I have already installed Power Vent windows from a Cadillac ( they bolted right in). Also from the same Cadillac the 4 Red / White door lights now replace the stock (same size) Oldsmobile reflectors and lighting the interior quite nicely !
Still to be assembled are (repo) RED inner fender wells, Factory under the bumper Ram Air system , Complete cargo carpet set , and a beautiful SILVER paint job without the wood graining the sides . He is doing some work on the Vista that I could not do myself. I was touched by this video and wanted to share it with other Oldsmobile groups.
If anybody here has any questions about my build just ask and I will respond.

Thanks, Craig

Cool project. I love all the '68-'72 F85/Cutlass/442/Vistas, but the '68/'69 dash w/ the deep-well gauges are the coolest of the bunch. Good choice!
