finished off the interior ,installed my trumpet tips ,all guages and wiring seems to be in order.have to take it for a test drive when the salt gets washed off the roads .take it over and have front end alignment and new tires installed .still debating on having the new top installed or trying it myself.been a long road but shes coming together !

Question, how was your dash gages to remove? I have a couple acting up and unsure how the face comes apart

 

 

I actually didn't have to take them out my gas gauge turned out to be the sending unit and the brake light was a stuck brake distribution valve all other gauges were working I did install after market oil, temp ,and volt gauges as well

 

Do you have the Cutlass Assembly Manual? The gages are really easy to access on 70-72. Undo 4 trim screws (2 upper gage panel, 1 in each lower diffuser lens), then tilt the faceplate out. You now have access to the gage fasteners.

 

Thanks for the advice! I don't have the chassis repair manual yet, only a Chilton that came w the car.I'll have a go at accessing the gages
