Shifter Purchase

I am looking to purchase a Dual Gate Shifter for my 1971 442. I came across a shifter at The Parts Place in Illinois. Has anyone had a any experience with them and do you have any idea's about puchasing a shifter from another source?

you can find NOS used ones on here all the time. I've heard the Repos are built with old original Hurst parts though and work fine.

Here's a related question, as I'm looking for a dual gate for a '69. Will a dual gate shifter from a gto essentially the same as that used in the H/O, with the exception of the elbow shaped stick in the H/O (gto uses a straight stick). I can get a gto setup cheaper and hopefully just change out the stick component. Any thoughts?
