New Vinyl on Windshield Frame

Well tonight on got some vinyl glued to the top of my windshield frame. Came out better than I expected! New reveal molding clips are installed and the windshield will be installed on Saturday...woo hoo. The vinyl isnt as glossy as the stuff i took off but it has the same grain. Hope it holds up!

Nice looking project! I am happy every time I install anything on my car.

Looks good and don't worry about it not being as shiny...that piece of vinyl gets a lot of abuse and doesn't stay "perfect" looking for long.

Need Vinyl?

I have a few extra strips of the vinyl if anyone wants to replace theirs. I had to buy two yards of the stuff to get the 5' length it needs. What $10 shipped in the US? Trades are cool too!

Thanks for the positive comments. Chris, I am amazed at how damn slow I am getting this thing put back together...I got a million excuses.. so one piece at a time will have to do it. I need a fueld tank sending unit and then I can install Patton's tank pad (thank you again,I got it about 5 years ago from you). And Yellowstatue, we just have to keep on pushin to get them on the road again!
