Question Need to know how to install this

could someone please tell me what the orientation should be for installing this clip? I don't know which way it goes or if it goes between the roof and weatherstriping channel, or between the weatherstriping channel and the weatherstriping itself.

Thanks,
Nufo (Fred

Now how is that for timing.... check out the picture I just posted on another thread. Its on a 1972 but there's a clip like this that attaches to the stainless steel channel, then the weather strip goes inside/on top of this. In this picture I'm pointing to the stainless steel channel with the weather strip removed, but right above my hand is the clip similar to yours. I can double check on one of my cars tomorrow, but I suspect it goes like this. John

John you don't know how glad I am you found this. I have already installed the channel (with sealant) and then remembered these clips. I was afraid I was gonna have to remove the channel with all that goop on the back of it to install these damn clips. Thanks for seeing this and replying. Whenever you get a chance, don't forget I need that chrome screw that attaches to the vent window frame at the leading edge of the door.

Thanks again,
Nufo (Fred)

Bolt found

John I found that bolt I needed for the vent window frame. It turned up in the coffee can that was marked miscellaneous stuff. Guess that's why it was marked miscellaneous. Any chance you have the clip for the wiper motor to wiper linkage??? sure could use one of those....

Thanks,
Nufo (Fred)

Cool! I'm glad you found the bolts as I was only able to come up with one so far. I did find the wiper linkage clip... now I have to remember where I put it I'll see if I can located it this afternoon.
