What kind of boat do you have?

(nice job BTW, I have a couple cardboard templates around somewhere for restoring the paint on 68 headlight buckets as well)

I didn't have any templates so I had to do it the hard way with tape took some time. I have a hydra sport fish and ski part of why it takes me so long to finish my cars.

If you ever do it in the future you paint the black areas, cut thin cardboard (like beer case thickness) templates to the shape of the black areas, put them in, and paint the rest gray. I don't think I masked off anything and its quick.

Hydrasport makes a nice boat.

As promissed pics of the new wheels. I found these on Ebay and like the way they look. They fit great and showed up mounted and balanced the price was right also. 15x7 front 15x8 rear. I really want to finish my engine and see how it sets I might give it a little drop but not to much. I want to keep the outside mostly stock with some minor mods that can be reversed easily and fit the classic lines of this car. Saving most of the mods for engine and drivetrain.

Beautiful!!! Great job keep it going. Are you gonna be using the 4speed in the back ground of your previous picks?

No I am planning a 5 speed conversion, the car is an original 4 speed car but the motor and tranny was gone when I bought it. The tranny in the pic was traded for some tools to a friend of mine that needed it. I did overdrive in my C10 and it is great. I recommend it to anyone that isn't building an all original car.
