Help with re-assembly of 71 cutlass convertable
Bought a car that was undergoing a frame on restoration where owners health failed and could not complete the task. A lot of finished parts in boxes. Figured out the majority.
Couple of questions:
1. Rear bumper fillers (2 rubber pieces) where exactly do they go ?
2. Painted sheet metal pieces that bolt to the core support and inner part of front fenders (not sure what they are called) ?. Filler piece by outer headlight. Fenders are on car and it appears to me these pieces should be attached prior to mounting fenders ?
They don't seem to want to go on. Do I need to pull fenders to install ? Someone please let me know
Thanks alot

The bumper fillers go on the top corners of the bumper. There should be a groove that slips partly onto the bumper edge.
You've got the correct location for the painted panels. I've never tried to put them on after the fenders are installed. I suspect you'll either need to remove/loosen the front fender mounts and maybe the core support bolts where it attaches to the frame. Then you might be able to flex things enough to get the fillers in place.
