fuel tank restore
Hi fellow Olds members,
Has anyone used POR 15 fuel tank repair/restoration/coating on the fuel tank.
I just ordered one and will be trying clean up all the rust inside my fuel tank. I've alot of the rust out using a hand full of nuts and bolts and a lot of shaking. The tank is in great shape outside, just inside has alot of rust from sitting unused.
Just looking for some success stories/tips etc....
Thanks in advance,
Nick.

I got my '40 tank back a month ago from Hart Radiator outside of Houston, they use a process called tank Renu that is warranted for life, supposedly with a zero return to date record. None of the modern ethanol based fuels have adverse effects on the lining. It comes back with a certification tag disceetly installed on top of the tank for any warranty work. Fixed,......and forgotten!! $450 total repair cost. There are Renu certified shops all over the States. Best of luck!
