Fuel Line Questions

I have a 1972 Cutlass Oldsmobile 2 door hard top, When I removed the body from the frame I only seen 2 fuel lines running down the frame...... I now dont know if it was the main fuel line and vapor line OR the main fuel line and fuel return line..... my tank has 4 ports, 1 that is from the sending unit...... So I guess my question is did the 72 cutlass with the 1 port from the sending unit come with a return or not...... Thank You Guys!!!!!

of the four lines on the gas tank 3 vents go to the canister behind the rear seat the fourth is the fuel line. the other line on the frame is a vent too (at least on my car 72 CS)

Thanks RetroRanger

So than the 2 lines that run down the side rail of the frame are 1) the main fuel line and the 2nd) the vapor line going from the vapor seperator tank to the charcol canister at the front..... and there is no fuel return line than correct???? Thanks

Small blocks have 1 line and big blocks have 2. Look at the fuel pump to see if there is a return.
