The 'beast' progress ('62 f85)

Well, the old rear springs are out and the '79 Nova 4-leafs are in. The MaxAir air shocks, on the car when I got it, are now working and holding air for the past two weeks. The 5-lug '79 Nova rear-end is in with new 3.42 innards, so now matches the 5-lug '68 Nova front spindles. New front shocks, with old springs, and new ball joints, are ready as soon as I get the upper and lower control arm bushings (hard to find). Hood, interior, and trunk soundproofing in, and trunk weather stripping is in. New 15 inch wheels look good, although a bit wide in the wells (secondary to a bad offset moment I had when ordering, oh well). I can post photos if anyone is interested. So, basically I now have a GM car but looks like an Olds.
Cheers.
