Back to work on the Olds '72 'S'

Hey All,

I took a break for a couple of years to get some major life events in order, but it's finally time to get back into working on my olds. I thought i'd start a thread to keep it all in one place.

My list of things to do in the near term:
  1. Replace front wheel bearings (driver front is making an awful squeal)
  2. Replace front wheel cylinders, hoses, drums and adjust, it's been driving me crazy that the car pulls to the passenger side a bit when i hit the brakes.
  3. W-25 hood (currently on a wait list at Thortons)
  4. Fix rust in rear passenger quarter (apparently there was a hole in the outer wheel housing that i didnt see when i did all that body work 10 years ago )

Long term wish list:
  1. Finally put dual exhaust on the car (with turn downs). I'm kind of bummed out i realized the previous owner "tried" to take the factory manifolds off before and snapped a bolt head off.
  2. Pull the motor and do a light freshen up. Paint the engine bay at the same time.
Finally, pics from the last couple of years:

Can't pull the car out of the garage without the dog wanting to go for a ride (he's addicted to the bench seat)

Car got married..... to someone who doesn't tell me to sell it every couple of months!

First stop on the rebuild, getting out those pesky old wheel bearings! I had a brass rod lying around and it seems to be working (tapping on alternate sides in the indents).
