77 98 Regency 2 Door Coupe

1977 98 Regency 2 Door coupe
403 SBO
Plans:
Satin or flat Black Body
Red Ragtop
Red Pinstripes
Rechrome everything
Hydraulics or Airbag supension
Lots of speakers
Clean up 403 and add some power
Build a LS motor on the side a swap in later
Do as much custom stuff as possible
Twin straight pipes
Upgrade drivetrain if possible
Whats been done:
Found a reciept from last march saying tie rods and etc was replace along with tires
Guy I bought it from replaced water pump, brake master cylinder and a fuel line
What I've done:
Engine:
Elderblock Pro Flo Air Cleaner
Elderblock Breather

Sound System:
Kenwood KDC-152 Head Unit
12in Polk Audio DX12 Subwoofer
Kenwood KAC-8104D 1000w Amp
Jvc 5.25 up front(just resting there till i figure out how to mount them in propery)
Kicker 6x8s (temporary till I get some 6x9s)

Things waiting to be installed:
Altenator & Power Steering belts
Thermostat Housing
2 10in Kickers
Set of wire wheels gotta get em cleaned up
Bass reducers for front speakers(may or may not use them now that i got the 5.25s)

If the body is that clean I wouldn't even touch the paint. I think the flat black look is overrated. Satin silver would be the ticket. the red n silver combo always looks good. I love wire wheels I think some cragar 30 spokes with some vouges would look killer.


Kinda like my dads 77 Pontiac boneville we have been working on for some time now. His is dark silver / gun metal color with red interior.

yea i like the silver alot too flat black is just my style plus i just keep thinking of how much it would look like a vampire casket with the red interior but paint is last thing that would be done so it'll be silver for a while

Thanks . My dad has been working on it for 15 years lol I took over the last 4. Full frame off deal. How many miles are on your 77 that car looks clean . I love the 2 dr b body cars

its in the 3xx,xxx im like the 2nd owner thats the only reason it isnt getting my rat rod treatment it wouldve been gutted out aleady and everything not need wouldve been removed and springs would be cut and would be murdered out

yea and there is barely any rust its mostly the bumpers and ragtop trim one of the doors has 2 quarter sized spots and those are the worst ones

Bought these until I order some daytons

So then I just plastic dipped em flat black and left the centers chrome

Be careful with plasti dip after awhile it'll start to peel. Looks great tho

yea i know there just temp wheels ill just keep spraying em maybe when they peel bad ill put something to eat up the chrome and paint them with wheel paint
