Thumbs up Awesome

Loved reading this thread. Awesome job.

I restored a '72 Supreme to be my first car during my sophomore year of high school. I need to post pictures.

The job is never done, but thank you.

That sounds much like this, it's a good way to learn respect for ones first car. You finished it, I assume?

Yes, I finished it for the most part. I can't really do anything else drastic to it until I'm out of college. I Wasn't able to do a frame-off resto like you were, because I was very limited on space and my parents eventually got sick of tripping over spare parts and not being able to use their garage.

That's something I'm pretty familiar with from all my smaller projects around the house.

Mm, wires!

Looking great for a 39 year old car.

I have a million screws and a million parts at this point. That chassis manual I bought will come in handy, I think.

Closer to being ready to get washed and then painted.

That rust in the trunk was worse than I though. :/
Boy, does this bring back memories!! Great work. I know all about going it alone. Congrats.

Thanks. I just blew up that renovated engine, so I'm glad I had the donor car.

Just found this. Cheap by Danish standards, needs new frame and body parts from the firewall forward. That'd be a good way to get rid of some of all those parts I have left over from the '71 that had been rear-ended. Sad that I don't have time to put them together.
