What a great idea. There has to be a story on that great looking hood.

I am totally digging it. I hope it will not be painted a flat color.

Kenny, the scoops came from a guy in Flovilla, GA. I can`t find a link to him right now.

My goal with this car is to keep it "era correct" as much as possible and keep it looking like something Olds might have put out back in the day.
Slow Olds, she WILL shine ! I`ll post more pics after the car is painted and receives it`s vinyl top...Yes, a vinyl top :O

Just got the Delta home from the vinyl top shop. Looks great. On the way home, I was waiting at a stoplight to go straight. All of a sudden, a `70 442 rolls ahead of me getting ready to take a right in the turn lane. What are the odds of that happening ? The funny part was that the grandpa car had the scoops while the 442 Cutlass did not....Just a goofy observation that I had. That dark blue `70 442 was sweet though.

Scooter- The wheels are Centerlines 15 x 8.5 in back and 15 x 7 up front. http://centerlinewheels.com/wheels_d...d=34&sw_id=371

jpaulwhite- I never got around to taking a set of pics after I put the car back together. I became very busy with things last fall and this winter. I`ll definitely take some nice shots of the car this spring and post them. I`ve been toying around with the idea of selling it but I`m not so sure I could do that . I also have a `60 Dynamic 88 two door coupe I`m thinking about selling. Not sure what to do ! I should post some pics of that car too.

Thanks scooter...this summer, the interior will be done in white. I`m going to have the seats recovered in white vinyl and then I`m going to refinish the door panels, quarter trim and rear package tray in white as well. I don`t think I`m going to mess with the headliner and will keep it green. Maybe I`ll even get to detailing the virgin engine compartment this year. I still have a `60 dynamic 88 bubble top and a `67 Mustang to tinker with yet !

Love the hood and grill. You hit your goal for period correct. It looks like a rare Oldsmobile
