'70 442 silver/black & #'s match
Hi everyone,
I've had this 442 for almost 18 years (picked it up during my junior year at Bella Vista High School, Carmiachael, CA. to accompany my '68 club coupe 442 at that time). Although I've been fortunate enough to have held onto this one for all these years, I was only able to start giving her the attention she deserves last year. These pictures do not show a complete restoration, nor was that the intention. Primary attention was given to her exterior (the worst part of the car), with other areas receiving a thorough, but secondary level of attention. Most of the interior was either refurbished or replaced, but some odds-and-ends will be addressed in the near future as time permits. She's still going into the Sacramento Autorama (2/16 & 2/17) nonetheless. This is the first thorough restoration-type adventure that I've been involved in, and I've learned a lot (I will apply those lessons to my recently acquired Rallye 350). All body/paint was done by my golfing buddy who has over 30 years of custom/restoration experience-Bob Grayson. I will post more interior/exterior/engine pics of the car as she approaches final assembly.
*Numbers-matching drivetrain has less than 1000 miles.
**Hood pictured is prepped for re-clearing and fender numbers haven't been affixed yet.
Nolnetheless, what do you all (experts, seasoned veterans, and fellow enthusiasts) think?

Thanks John.
I might add that during my senior year, I sold the '68 and bought a '70 W30 (#'s didn't match) to go along with this silver '70. Althought the W30 didn't have it's correct guts, I still wish I would've been able to hold onto it. It was a factory black with gold stripe car (auto; sans a/c, W35, W27, & W26.). Oh well...
