68 442 wiper motor interchange

The wiper motor I removed from my 442 had a broken nylon piece inside the tranny...so I picked up a couple of other wiper motors.....YEARS ago. I don't remember what I pulled them off of. Everything on the outside of the three motors looks the same. In the picture, the middle one was my original and I cleaned up the one on the right, again I did that years ago thinking this was going to go in the car. Here's the question...can I bench test them or manually cycle to see if they operate the same? I understand some can have different "throws" or "strokes"? Put it in and let it rip?
thanks
Tom
