That's going to look great with the rears done. I love the wheel choice with the car color.

I agree with Ron, you are showing great patience. I can't image how hard it must be for you waiting for the motor, it's killing me just waiting for updates.

The car looks great and I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.

And I thought waiting 9 months for my motor for the 48 was a long time. Sounds like it will be worth it though. Keep us posted

Tony you are making some good progress. Sounds like Santa was good to you. If you want, I can shine those valve covers up for you. We can trade for some airbrushing. Happy new year!

red cutlass

Saw the post of before and after of the cutlass.Really brings back memories. Did a 66-442 in Illinois back in 75. Painted it Candy Fire Red
and molded a L88 Scoop into the hood. When I first saw the picture of your's I could not tell what kind of scoop it was. Kind of set me back,, thought it was my old one till I noticed yours is a hardtop mine was a sedan ( post car ).
Im sure by now it is all done, look's like it is going to be a Killer car.
Best of luck with it. Tom

On the pos side i did have enough time to pickup alot of cool ad ons that i didnt have for the motor learned a few things too it should look really cool I sprayed candy red inbetween the fines on the air cleaner and valve covers picked up stainless fuel lines also red wires for the plugs and rubey red for the block if it looks right

Wow, other than the scoop and 442 stuff, it looks like a twin to my 66. What color is yours? I picked a cranberry red metallic off the 73 Cutlass. Nice. It was pretty dark at night, when I took this. I'll try a different one. If anyone is looking for a complete rearend....with 456 posi gears, let me know. I put a 200 4r in this, and had my fun from light to light, and even quarter mile, but went too far over the top and put a rear end out of a 65 in this. It's a pegleg 2.78. I'm not sure how to check this, but think it may go over 150 mph. I'll check the gas mileage this week.

I'm for real ! My first car was a 67 Cutlass 4DR . I love the looks , especially the front and back end of those years . I'm getting closer to getting back to my 72 CS , but still have my other cars to fix first
