Its a pretty easy swap. Are you leaving the 350 pretty much stock?

ok i got a question since im almost to the point of pulling my motor out. the new motor did not come with pully's so when i take mine off is there a special way to put the pully's onto the new motor to make sure things are right ? i believe they should work since im going from an olds 300 to an olds 350

If I were you, don't mix and match pulleys and accessories. Use one or the other.

Try to keep one system together on your engine.

That means use all the 330 stuff if possible.

Compare the lengths of the water pumps if your reusing all the 330 pulleys and accy brackets.

well the 350 has no pulley's and the 330 has all pulley's and bracket's for alt and power steering and air conditioning. I just got done puling the 330 out of car , now gotta clean up engine bay , and fix exhaust and place pulley's and then install motor.

ok well heres the update pics to come soon , i just got the 350 in car tonight got 3 of the bell housing bolts in got both motor mount bolts slide into place. there a line coming from the transmission its metal then goes to rubber anyone know where that might go ? if went into the intake manifold on the 330 but i dont believe thats where its supposed to go and since there was so much other things messed up with the 330 leave me wondering.

That line sounds like the trans modulator, it gets full manifold vacuum and controls trans shifting at part throttle

It is the vacuum modulator line, one side connects to the modulator and the other side goes to manifold vacuum.
