65 cutlass longlasting wait body paint

Hi guys

After many years of awaiting, I decide to offer some tlc to my cutlass.
Mainly cause the windshield "weatherstrip" were dry as desert.
Otherwise I was fond of her "patina".

Funny story about this car, I bought her in 2007, sold it in 2009 cause I divorced.
Then the guy call me last november, He was seller due to losing his job. SO I bought her AGAIN!

She was first sold in Sterling mist

Then she became a nocturne mist ( don't know when)

I started to fix some dent with lead back in 2009

Then she went to the body shop last weeks

To be continued...

Beautiful!

That's amazing that you used lead to repair dents. Are you a paint and bodyman by trade or did you learn by trial and error? I've heard that using lead in bodywork is a dying art.
