Your wagon is awesome. I'm a wagon guy and a 64 guy. Big fan of your ride!

The heat here in Zona has been brutal, but I managed to get a few things done. I finished up the cam and lifter install that I got from cutlassefi, runs great. After the break in I rebuilt the carb as I had some tuning problems. Look at the rod imagine that, runs real good now after a rebuild.
I also installed a Champion 3 core radiator, this was a direct bolt in, my car has a 65 lower core support so it allows the taller 65 radiator I also changed out the 64 only pump and put a 65 on it. This radiator works well with no overheating problems.

Sooooo can you guess what happens when you use 5 year old glass primer to save $20 bucks? Yep, you get to buy everything and do it again.

I'm watching carefully - I'm learning vicariously through you. I'm on the verge of getting my 2 dr coupe and my VC sold so I can get my flat top in the garage and get busy.

I love watching a good build happen, even if it takes years. You're doing a great job, keep it up.
Where did you get your quarter window trim clips? I'm getting ready to do the same job (after I repair the rust in the window channels ) on my '65 Buick Special wagon. All my clips were rusted and some were unrecognisable.

Aveco should still make those. Got them years ago for my '66 Tempest Custom wagon. They were pretty much the same clips that hold the trim on the rear windows in 2dr and 4dr cars.

Aveco
This place will have them, this is a common clip I got mine from Lawson as my employer has an account with them and I purchased a box of 50 and was able to get the "good" pricing, retail pricing will be a buck or more each. If I recall I paid about $30.00 for the box.
