Small updates. I sorted out the rear end( ring and pinion, brakes, fluid etc.), put fluid in the transmission( ordered gl4 since the transmission didn’t seem to like the backwards compatible gl5 that was in it), I couldn’t find a clutch pedal assembly so I modified some pedals for a first gen nova, the carb is apart getting modified and waiting on new parts for the blow through application, and I’m having a radiator built for it to fit stock location.
Not a whole lot really, I did not modify the column support. I modified the clutch pivot shaft to fit then cut the brake pedals off the drum they swing from and welded the nova pedal onto the factory drum. I did have to adjust the z in the brake pedal arm to clear the steering column but I was able to use the factory rod that attaches to the pedal and pushes the brake master. I’ll take pictures next time I pull the assembly out.
Clutch linkage is getting dialed in but feels good so far.
I picked up a belt drive pump so I can move foward on the fuel system
I picked up my radiator today, it’s the factory tanks with cooler removed, outlet upsized to match water pump, inlet moved to drivers side and three rows of 3/4 tubes( factory was two rows of 1/2”).
