455 in a '60??

A friend called today and asked if I'd be interested in installing a 455/T400 in a '60 Dynamic 88 wagon for him.
I've no clue on this swap, but I'm sure someone on here has done it, and could advise the short-cuts vs the 'hard way'.
Thanks in advance!

Rick

Should not be that hard if you have some fab skills. I installed a 455 and T400 in my 57 Olds. I fabricated new motor mount brackets off of the front cross member and used stock motor rubber mounts fastened to the two side front motor mounting holes and made a new cross member for the rear mount then used a long tail shaft T400 and a new single piece drive line. It was a tight fit to the floor. Yours will be even tighter because of the slimjim transmission and the shallow tranny tunnel. Might have to modify that somewhat.

I thought of that, but I was hoping someone had a 'shortcut', like something that helped a bolt-in situation.
Guess I've gotta find some frame mounts. Maybe use SB to get it lower.
Is the 455 weight compatable to the original 394?
Maybe I'll have to mention a 700R4 might be a better choice for the floor clearance, as well as getting 5000 + lbs. moving, and getting a little more fuel mileage.
