I thought I would update my thread here...

I got my '66 fired up and to an idle yesterday...once I got spark the starting went uber easy. A little bump in timing got her to idle damn good, surprisingly.

The front clip is off so the access was easy. Thanks to Eric, The Other Eric, Joe and others that lent me their experience, strength and hope to get her started. I had some bugs to sort out but I expected that. The next step is a water pump change, cooling system flush, ignition wiring issue to sort out and some brake freshening. Then a short "check-out" drive. It's been a long time coming too. WOOT
Thanks again everyone,

Howdy fellas,

I thought I would chime and say "what's up". Life has been a whirl wind the last 6 weeks or so, so I have done much with my car with the club stuff. I still have a plan and all will be well. So, talk to y'all soon.

Been on another hiatus

I have finally gotten to a place in my busy life to start on the car again. I hope to see some of you again.
