Here is a link to my 455 install. I offset the engine one inch and did not have to angle it. I used a one piece custom driveline as well. Over all most people who look at it think it is original.

I install power disc brakes on all four corners at the same time and the engine conversion.

The former "pink" boat has Disc Brakes on the front, new lines, a MC on the firewall and the rear drums all cleaned up and refurbished< man I hate working on old brakes!!!! I used the Scarebird plates on the front, that part went great. It was taking the old stuff apart that drove me more nuts!!!!

"citcapp's" write-up on his conversion was a great help!!! THANKS!!!!

HaHa, naw, I got to go slow with new parts!!! Make sure it's the right time to install!! It was a sick feeling the other day when I got the "Airplanes" back from the chrome man and I realized they needed to go on before the headlight buckets & doors

'57 Rust

Hi bronco. did you find rust in the lower rt/lft lower front hood? and lower r/L rear bottom portions of the front fenders? '57s are notorious for that. And if so, how did you treat it? Thanks, Charly9g/wfg4u@aol.com

Hey Charley, I got lucky on that, solid hood & fenders. The PPO had replaced the floor pans (crudly!!) so I didn't have body rust to contrend with!!

Put a coffee can out with a label that all suggestions are accepted that are fully funded. It's your car not theirs.

Good luck w/the rest of the project Bronco! I'm just about to send mine out to have a new TCI front susp. installed. Everythings @ the chrome/polishing shop and I'm cleaning nuts and bolts. Maybe a little progress here. Did you re-new the "Fuzzies" in the front (flapper)and rear weatherstrip retainers? Can't figure out how to get the old ones out! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would post pics if I knew how! Thanks, and good luck, Charly9g. WFG4U@aol.com.

I like the look.

I like the look of this car! It is exactly what you might have seen in a high school parking lot in '62 or '63.

Where did June, July & August go?????? Man it sure seems like I didn't get much done, but I was able to crank it and drive it outside yesterday. Finishing touches can be time consuming, especially coupled with 5 trees down in mid June from a small tornado!!!! Real lucky, trees only got my deck, some gutter, some siding, a piece of roof and made a mess in the back yard!!! Hope to be at a local car show the 21st!!!

Love those sedans ! Man you don't need a flame suit ! If people don't like what your doing to save a car then they can send you money and parts to do it the way they think it should be done! I personally should have my head examined to why I'm spending over 7000.00 to do a 4 speed conversion on a totally obsolete engine in a car where NOTHING is easy to remedy. But I won't cave into easy and will have to pay the price. Have fun with it! Did I say sedans rule ?!!!!
