Carpet replacement
Carpet replacement
Besides for some molding on the ready to go, what is the pros and cons of buying pre-molded carpet as to buying a bulk roll and cutting myself? I am looking to replace my carpet, make it look good, but not kill my wallet.
if you are for the pre-molded carpet, where would you suggest I got to get it for my 69 cutlass post sedan?

I used Auto Custom Carpets Inc.and for my era car they were priced close to the best price and they knew the difference between a super 88 and a 98 others did not. I was told by Custom Carpets that most all of the distributors buy from the same manufacture and for the same carpet you may pay as much as twice as much for the same item.Buyer beware... Tedd
You will not go insane, spend huge amounts of time trying to perform the impossible task of fitting a carpet that is impossible to fit, and have a car that looks like crap when you're done.
Cons: You'll be out about $130 to $150.
There are many artistic and crafty ways of fitting flat carpet to an undulating surface, but none of them will look like the car looked originally, and all of them require a lot of time and care.

They make and supply the carpets to most of the other sellers.
