Seat belt restoration

I was going to send my 77-CS seat belts to Ssnake-Oyl Products for restoration. Any one used them before? Comments?

I was also looking for the front plastic sleave on the short belts. Anyone repop them? I bought a pair, but they are too short.

Thanks
Mike

I've heard nothing but good about them. They are expensive though. Only other choice really are folks on ebay. I went that route half price and looked great

Belts for a 1977 should be fairly common on eBay. I would only go with the Snake Oyl restoration if you couldn't find anything else. They do great work, but the price is high. If you are doing a concourse restoration, then go the Snake Oyl route. If a driver, then look for used and save the money. Also check for NOS belts, since sometimes they are less than the cost of reproduction.

If your going to send them out for restoration, try giving Stewart a call a Python Restorations in Texas. He was way cheaper then Snake Oyl and did a great job on my 71 belts.

Thanks for the heads up. I am just looking for a good driver quality. I bought some clear plastic clips that go on the shoulder belts. They have printing on how to adjust the shoulder belt. There is the front clear plastic and a white plastic "retainer' on the back. I am missing one of the white "retainers" Ssnake -Oyl claims they only have one piece style. Mine are two piece. Any one have or know were I might obtain one of the back retainer clips? Been looking on E-bay for a long tome. I am going to try Phython's.
