Need longer lap belt for '78 98

I need to replace the original lap belt with a longer one in the rear seat, it's the self retractable style. I've got the Fisher body manual and found a pretty good YouTube tutorial, but does anyone have recommendations for a good seller of this type in the original style? Thanks.

I don’t know much, but you can probably have a local upholstery shop fabricate such a belt and reuse the parts other than longer, new, webbing. Latter day webbing is a bit thinner than the old days, but just as safe.

Cheers

Have you considered a seatbelt extender? It would be just as strong and cheaper than changing the belt.

No need to remove the OE seatbelt for a different one. Just get an extender, probably available from Amazon.

I got these from my Father-in-Law some years ago.

An upholstery shop, that's a good idea. There's a few near me.

That was my first thought, but what complicates things is the application. This meant to secure a rear facing child safety seat, there's some scary stories about using them so I hesitate.
