seat fabric

When I picked up my 1955 88 after being in for service I found a rip in the front seat. Who knows how this happened but that isn't important. Where can I find the proper material for Trim No 321 for the seat. I have tried SMS but not sure they have the right color yet. Any suggestions are welcome.

That was my guess.

Is the small patch original material, and the background the new SMS material?
If so, the original looks like it has faded a lot over the last 70 years
You are probably better off to get enough material to do the entire seat.

The small patch is the sample from SMS. The larger piece is on the seat today. I sent an email to SMS this week with this picture and haven't heard back.

Service is slow from SMS.
But the quality is excellent.
Give them time. They are the only company that seems to offer this service.

What does the opposite side of the small sample look like?

Here is a picture of the other side of the sample. SMS seems to be the largest source for material and I have heard that they can be a little slow in responding. Hoping I can find a good match!

Yeah, that's not any better.

On their website, 55-2066 looks like the replacement for your cloth. Is that the number for the sample they sent? If so, your sample doesn't match the computer sample.
