Legendary Carpet

I have a 1969 442, gold interior. I ordered pretty much everything for the interior from legendary, and the lead time is 294 days (gulp!). I ordered the dark gold carpet, but i don't know if that's right or if it should be just the gold carpet. Any thoughts?

If you asked they would send samples to compare to so you can get as close as you can.

yeah, nothing to compare with but steel. I'm wondering what it left the factory with, gold or dark gold.

I can't help with what was correct or not but I can provide this guidance on suppliers.

Legendary does not make carpet. They resell ACC, and it will drop ship from ACC.

Very much not worth it to buy that piece from them as it's available elsewhere much cheaper. Rock auto has the best prices on ACC FWIW.

I bought from Legendary for my 1970 442, I wasn't happy. Send door panels back, the chrome tape was all loose. Repaired, but coming loose again. I haven't never installed them yet.

Mine is light gold from factory with the gold interior, this is an ACC carpet I installed. It matches the door carpet, so definitely color correct.

Damn I missed that its a 69, not sure of carpet colors on that, if he had the original door panels the lower carpet will match the carpet on the floor..but he doesn’t..somebody on here has that info..probably JP..

Yeah, 69, door panels (original) do not have carpet on them, they are vinyl. Beautiful car you got there!
