I just ordered carpet for my 69 S, this will be my first ever attempt at installing carpet, I bought the car as a project so I'm trying to do all I can on my own. Any suggestions and what do I need to watch for. I ordered the carpet and sound denser from OPG, how is the quality? Is legendary better? Share your experience please.

 

The only thing I can say is cut the outer edges of the floorboard several inches longer than you think it needs. Let it settle for a while (weeks) before the final trimming. I was told this and I left it longer than it looked like it needed but it still ended up too short by about 1/2 inch on both sides. I had to lay a strip on either side to fill in the gap.
