72 Cutlass S bench ripped, seat cover ideas?

My front bench passenger butt area is ripped up pretty bad.
I have a brown towel covering the area well enough but there's gotta be a better way! lol
What are you guys using as seat covers?
I have dark brown saddle color and am looking for some sort of cover for the bench in the mean time until I am able to purchase the real $200 matching interior seat covers and have them installed.
Any suggestions?

A little creativity and some duct tape... Or you can get an inexpensive bench seat cover from Amazon:

I was gonna suggest a seat cover like that too, it probably won't be made for your car but will look/ feel better than ripped up vinyl.

I got lucky I had one bucket w ripped up lower, I found a used set of replacement bucket seat covers on CL. I vinyl dyed the green cover black and installed it myself it came out great and looks original.

Btw installing the replacement cover isn't difficult, just take time and attention to detail, if you can save up enough for the replacement cover install it yourself.

It just looks as if it will restrict the split from folding to get into the back seat.
If its a 2 piece, I could cover the bottom part only and leave the splits alone.
The search continues! lol

You did get lucky!
I heard replacing the originals aren't that hard but man I don't wanna spend $250 if I can just find a much cheaper solution.
But in the long run I know its the right move to get the original cover replacements. I just wish they weren't so expensive! UUghhhh
