Stock dash clock vs Aftermarket Quartz Movement

Hi. I just removed the stock dash clock from my 1970 Cutlass. A few tiny pieces were found loose inside it. The clock looks good but does not move. I assume having it repaired can be costly. One may find refurbished ones out there and also the quartz movement replica is available. I wonder, given that stock ones might not last long, would it be reasonable to opt for the quartz movement replicas vs a refurbish OEM? The former is about $165 while the latter could be about the same price but it could also be more expensive.

A quartz conversion is the best thing to do in my opinion. All my cars have been converted, at least one has been running for 15 years with no problems.
