Has anyone used The Parts Place 68-71 GM factory deluxe seat belt metal covers? Checking to see how good the fit and finish is. Mine are pitted with rust spots. Any input would be appreciated.

I used them on the front belts on my '68. As with most after-market parts they needed a little massaging to fit properly. At the rear of the cover where it snaps over the chrome base housing I had to file the covers a bit to get the little tabs to snap in place. They look good, especially after I repainted the buttons. A definite improvement over the scuffed originals!!

 

Perfect....I guess I will give them a try.
