Weatherstripping for vent windows

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for weatherstripping for the vent windows both front and back on a 4 door sedan of a 56 olds super rocket 88. I found some replacements on fusick but my goodness they are expensive! Can I use just a general softseal kind and just make sure they fit really well to the windows? or am I going to have to find vehicle specific ones?

Try carparts.com. I got weatherstripping for my '56 from them and the price was very reasonable.

Thank you, pricing looks similar to Fusick. They are clearly the originals but every time you shut the back doors little parts fly off and you can't really wipe them off your vinyl sets as they create a charcoal mark on them! Not good with a teal and white interior

I've found Steele Rubber to be the best source for weatherstripping.

X2 on Steele. Also remember that these year Olds share a lot with similar year Buicks. Might broaden your search.
