Trim Code 948?
Trim Code 948?
Could someone with a 1964 F-85 Assembly manual please take a look and see what colors we have from trim code 948? Thank you. I've done a lot of searching here and on the rest of the web with no luck.
Apparently the codes change from year to year and the only Assembly Manual I currently have access to is 1965. Mines a 64. Thanks again for your help.

Chances are the color would either be called "saddle" or "dark saddle". You can request a material/color sample from the manufacturer if you plan to purchase a reproduction headliner. They'll probably have a few different shades of brown/tan and you can select the closest match. Seldom will you find a perfect color match, unless of course you're getting black, lol.
Yeah the headliner is falling down, it is kind of an off white color and I don't think it was originally white. Seems to me I saw a color such as parchment or something like that offered from one of the aftermarket sources.
Oh, and thanks for the reply.

The 64 Body Parts manual I have says headliner with 948 is "light fawn morocceen" which is a pale beige, but I swear most 64 I've seen had that off-white headliner with all but a blue or green interior. Parchment is an off-white, and works with all interior colors, so you'd be OK with that.

My wife and I are taking the F-85 on a little 600 mile road trip the next few days, looking forward to it. Gonna visit some relatives we haven't seen in quite a while.
