Toronado and delta 88 seats interchangeable?
#2
There were some differences in the way they were mounted depending on what kind of seat they were. I remember some being mounted on studs from the floor pan and being held on by nuts then other styles being bolted to the floor pan. There were manual, four way power, six way power, bench, bucket, strato bench, etc. Generally speaking as far as size goes I would guess that either would fit dimensionally speaking but they may not be a one for one exchange as far has the hardware goes.

Oldsguy had bucket seats in his 69 Delta 88 out of an early 90s Cutlass Calais. Necessity being the mother of invention, I am sure you could get them to fit.

Just double check how each attaches to the floor pan so you will be prepared if they are different and maybe measure the lower seat cushion width on the Toronado seat to make sure if will fit. If it is a 4 way adjustable you will need a wiring harness for it, not sure if the Delta 88 has it or not, if it doesn't then you will need to address that as well. Finally, since the Toronado has no transmission hump the seat may be lower and not clear the transmission hump on your Delta. Let us know how it turns out.
