Hello.

I have a serious neck condition that means I need to support my head where I can. In most modern cars I can adjust the seat angle and headrest height and get into a comfortable position that can work for me for longer drives.

Currently if I’m going anywhere further than 30 minutes I won’t drive my 1978 Delta 88. The headrest doesn’t come nearly high enough nor close enough to the head to be usable.

Has anyone tried anything in this area?

I wonder if an extension could be designed for the center bar, perhaps in a curve shape, to bring it higher and forward.

or

Maybe a custom cushion could be made much larger using the stock bar.
