Strato bucket seat question?

Strato bucket seat question?
I know these are incorrect seats. I am trying to replace them. My question is, black strato bucket seats are they suppose to have head rests or were they just strait bucket seats in a 1968 442? I see a lot of seats or were head rests a option? Matt

Thanks Gregg,
i have been using them but I really want these gone and the correct ones in. Just needed to know which ones to buy so I can price these out to sell to pay for correct ones to rebuild.

The ones to buy would be the buckets that have the release button on the side rather than on the back if you want the correct seats. As well, headrests were an option for '68 so it's possible to see '68 style seats with headrests.

Headrests were an available option as far back as the 1966 model year. In 1968, they were available under RPO A81, for $52.66. Most cars built that year did not get them, but they WERE available from the factory. Starting with the 1969 model year, headrests were mandatory under federal law.
