Steering Wheel Year Compatablility/Interchange

Steering Wheel Year Compatablility/Interchange
Will a 1969 and higher Steering Wheel/Hub fit a 1968? What years were the same as to dia. and spline count, etc? Have eye on one listed as 1970-1977 and thought it may fit.
