My current steering wheel has a major heat crack in it. I was looking at changing my wheel to the 4 spoke wheel shown below. What is need in order to do so if any thing? Wheel both wheels fit the same steering column, is there an adaptor kit, or wheel I have to change my steering column? I don't have the 4 spoke wheel in my posession so I'll have to depend you guys for the info. This is on a 71 Cutlass Supreme. Any info will help.

 

I know you don't have to change the column.
I'm thinking of getting one too, I test drove a Vista Cruiser with one and liked it, blue ones are hard to find though.

Fusick has the complete steering wheel package or the parts you need to install it.

It looks like the whole package would be bought in order to get the hub. Perhaps they'll sale it individually also. Thanks for the info.

 

It's an easy swap. If you get a used one make sure the hub comes with it. The horn button on them is commonly cracked down the middle so be weary of that.

 

FYI, nearly all 1969-1990 (and often later) GM steering wheels interchange.

They are available both used and repro. Note that the 68 hub is smaller in diameter than the 69-up hub.
