steering wheel help

My steering wheel on my 69 cutlass was badly cracked, so I bought a not so bad 71 wheel off e-bay and repaired it. Silly me, it looks the same, just upside down. I thought I would just flip it over and use my 69 horn pad, but after I got it all repaired and repainted, I found out that the signal cancelling cam post requires that the wheel go back in only one way. So my question is, short of having a machine shop try to drill a new hole without damaging all my work, is there a way to flip the wheel so I can use my original horn pad?

Thanks,
Ken
